Visitors from all over the state soak up the stunning rural landscape on the north-east shores of Lake Wyangala at Grabine Lakeside State Park. With a water storage capacity in excess of 1,217,000 megalitres, 2.5 times the volume of Sydney Harbour, the catchment area measures 8,300 square kilometres.
Enjoy the magnificent views of Grabine and Lake Wyangala or enjoy water sports, bushwalking and picnics. There are many walking trails to take in the spectacular scenery across the lake and surrounding countryside or take a canoe trip round the foreshores.
Grabine Lakeside is an excellent inland fishing spot, with catches of silver and golden perch (yellow belly), catfish, trout, Murray cod and of course, European carp.
Through the spring and summer seasons, Grabine Lakeside’s 42 km of waterways offer pleasure boating, canoeing, swimming, water skiing, sailing and windsurfing.
The great two day Grabine Music Muster Festival on Grabine State Park was back on the 5th-6th Dec 2008! It brought the best country rock live bands and singers.

Somebody didn’t know how to park the car..

Made this video in 2000 when cameras and computers were still new and exciting. Don Hany, Huw McKinnon and I (Craig) went to a shopping centre in Sydney and filmed it. Got the idea after Don smashed me for life in a Voltswagon (but kept laughing and ruining the take- making us do it again and again).
A security guard named Hans busted us- but we talked him into joining in- he did- by hurling trolleys at me. Good work Hans.
The film is rather pointless but if I did it again today, I would hire a Vericam to get some real good slow mo’s.

The best car park in Sydney! This starts with a rather unforgiving decent in to a super sharp U turn. After you get past that it is a fun easy spin down lots of levels of extra smooth pavement!

At the final destination, Wentworthville Maccas…A lot happened that night, which i sadly missed as we trekked from Liverpool’s KKs up the Cumberland =) I Actually feel as if i’m starting to get somewhat lethargic with my camera this week, but i guess that’s because HSC is knocking on my door, and i can’t bother spending a whole weekend mixing up videos and editing stuff.
Anywho, I’m probably going to delete this within a week because it’s not much of an effort.
