Where can I find out more about these auctions? Is there a listing of when and where the auctions are? Do you have to have a permit/license of some sort to purchase?

Hi! Yes, it took …
Hi! Yes, it took about 8 hours to sift through everything from both units; got a lot of good things to sell…and a LOT of trash! But there was somethig AWESOME in the ubit that was won for only $5…a rare JERRY GARCIA watercolor litho, limited edition, signed, titled, and numbered in pencil! It is valued at over $5,000, how about that??? It is titled Garcia/Grisman…How’s THAT for a newcomer’s score?! Those kinds of scores are what make it like a treasure hunt every time!

There were only …
There were only about 15 buyers that showed up, so the competition wasn’t too heavy. One small unit went for $125 full of name brand clothes. The owner was a model and that tip was known to the the guy who got it. He was going thru it afterwards and showed me some stuff he scored for his store. What a fabulous way to get cheap inventory. Screw going to Goodwill and yard sales, haha.

Thanks! Well, we …
Thanks! Well, we went, and it was EXACTLY like your video, only there were 5 units up fore grabs. My son bid on one no-one really wanted, FIVE BUCKS, lol…a 5×10 and another 5×5 for TEN bucks! We filled our pickup to the gills and everyone congradulated my “newbie” son. t was great fun, veery exciting and the usual keen thrill of “treasure hunting”. I cannot believe all the great stuff that was in all those boxes. So far we’ve sifted through about 1/4 of it all….the swap meet’s on sunday!

Units sell all of …
Units sell all of the time for 50 to 100 dollars. It is always a good idea a take a little extra just in case a really good one comes your way. Good luck and happy bidding.

Wow! My son and I …
Wow! My son and I are going to our 1st storage unit auction today in Santa Clarita. We both recently got resale permits and go to swapmeets. I guess I better tell him to get more than the $300 cash he planned on getting! Some vendors at the swapmeet have told me they get units all the time from $50 to $100, so this was a suprise! This was a GREAT video that really illustrates what it might be like for us today. Thanks a lot for sharing it. Oh, yeah, the auctioneer is really talented, lol!!!
