This is the pilot we entered in the FX “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” sitcom contest.
This is a show about two brothers that have to find a way to work together at their family-owned self storage facility.
We’re very happy with what we were able to do in the limited amount of time we had available to us. We conceived the show over the phone while I (Victor) was driving back to Houston from Dallas the last Sunday in May. We wrote the script Saturday evening. We spent all day on June 4th shooting, and then I spent all day June 11th editing, finishing up at 6:30am after an all night edit session, just in time for the deadline (which later got pushed back for all the people having upload problems).
We actually have a ton more ideas for this show than we were able to cram into five minutes, and we would love the chance to do a full-length version of the pilot. Even if we don’t win, we will likely produce a few full-length episodes for distribution here on YouTube.
